The US Government's Secret Recovery of Aliens

If our government did recover some alien craft and non human myologic is it a huge deal that they did that in secret or are people just you know nosy nancy's who really want to know what's going on. I kind of feel the same way about aliens as I do ghosts like I but  that's not entirely trueI believe aliens exist as far as aliens being here so therefore it seems like a big deal especially when the US does something because they're the ones that we hear about being here in the US.
