New York City Employers to Share a Good Faith Pay Range

New York City joins other states in requiring employers to disclose how much they're willing to pay for open positions. Companies that have at least four employees, one of whom must work in New York City, are now required to share a good faith pay range for job openings. Roughly 4 million private sector employees will reportedly be affected since the law covers not only full time employees, but also part timers, contractors and freelancers.
