Vampiric entities have been described for as long as language has been written and stories have been carved into stone. There's this carving called the Bernay relief in Mesopotamia that dates back to almost 4,000 years ago. This relief provides one of our first insights into this strange and ancient connection between the female demon of death and her association with night birds. And as we go forward through this episode, I want you to start making connections between the archetypes.
