The Police's Theory on Madeline's Death
The police's theory on this front was that basically kate and jerry gave madeline a sedative that night so that she would sleep while they were at the restaurant, but maybe they gave her too much. They say it explained why the dogs aserted, why there was no trace of evidence at all. And one investigator basically told a local paper that the intruder theory n't even work, because it would have been impossible to get through the window carrying a child.
