St. Thomas's Criticism of Priests and Eucharist
We're either in the church of Christ or we're in the church, those who are now with Christ. That's why consequently, St. Thomas has to draw distinctions. We need to be in communion with the pastors of the church to be in that ecclesial context. And Thomas's critique here applies to anything that is not fully knighted to Christ and his church.
