Can I Have a Look at a Candida Oris Culture?
Rebecca Gordon is a clinical scientist at Health Services Laboratory specialising in fungal infection. She gives us a flavour of what we do on a daily basis to diagnose the disease. We start off by visiting the culture laboratory, where fungi produce spores. The reason for that is because it's full of fungus can get quite smelly. And actually what you can see growing here and I won't take the lid off is a candida oris culture.
