Can You Build a PC Based Nav System?
There's another way to do it besides the iPads. You have the multifunction display chart plotters, which we've sort of ruled out. Then you've got the idea of building a PC based system where you have either a laptop or a separate screen and a PC built into the boat. Those offer a lot more flexibility, but I couldn't think of anything that a PC based nav system is going to do that we can't do on an iPad.
