Alexander was using patterns as a vehicle for what he called wholeness, right? Like this notion, tha, we want the end result to have this qualityt weu want it to be good with like, a capital g, someho. He really thought that there was a sort of objective criterion to that. Alexander saids actually, i don't really the patterns tat. They don't really deliver the goods i i don't use them any more.
