What Are the Asset Classes?
The first general asset class you need to understand is cash. As we knowit comes in many forms, including digital bindery numbers on some bank's computer somewhere. Cash gets a little bit more complicated when you are talking about fixed term deposits and fixed term bonds. And ut other as asses is hedge funds, private equity and commodities. But personally, i wouldn't call them an asset class. And i'm going to get on to my reasons why in a second.
