Is 16 Episodes Too Long?

The average Clone Wars season back in its day was like 22. I think as a D&D player, I probably have a little more tolerance for these kind of session based episodes and whatnot. The first big frustration was that the series did not go in chronological order. Drove me crazy. And we happen to know with good authority that it wasn't Dave Filoni's favorite either.
