What Is Slang?

The Australian National Dictionary doesn't use slang as a label. Yet, despite this, Australia is probably does the best slang on offer. I would love to do an Aussonli a dictionary but Bruce Moore made the decision not to use it. But nonetheless, my book is still called Green's Dictionary of Slang and certainly in my lifetime will continue to be said.
