How did people keep track of price increases? They couldn't, is the answer. Over the course of 19 22, you could go into the grocery store one day and say, ok, well, this is how much, you know, a bag of flour cloths. An the next day's even higher, ait. It just the money became, became worthless. And so you had, you had people, you had huge theft and looting problems. But you basely had barter in the streets, where ordinary people trying to make ands meat, were having to trade goods for goods instead of payingwith wheelbarrows full of cash.
