His plaque was erected at four lower addison gardens in holland park, which is quite a very nice area actuallyf london. He did a big survey of the north american north coast in 18 forty six, seven and another one in 18 53. Four in all, he mapped about 17 hundred miles of coast line - pretty given that he went on foot. His wife allowed him to go on a further trip and er withdrew her promise. Yea e really was a very considerable and an underrated figure.
