Is There a Problem With Using Time?
i think our economic system really pushes us to over invest in, you end up giving no account to the value of time in the present and whether it's actually fun. You become one of these people where your sort of constantly working towards goals that don't rally give very much pleasure. When you achieve them, maybe for a day or a few hours, you feel very satisfied, and then it's just on to the next one. So you get this very strange situation where life is mainly waiting for these moments of culmination. And only, sort of incidentally, is it the feeling that you have accomplished something meaningful. But i think it does ultimately sort of sap the value from life itself.
