What Are Common Characteristics of Autism?

Autism is a behavioral diagnosis. We don't have a blood test or chromium test, so it is just diagnosed on basic behavior. The characteristic behavior is that the clinician is looking for are social and communication difficulties and rigid and repetitive behavior. And often there are sensory sensitivities or fascinations.
