i grew up going to school as a kid baron, and i didn't really understand thet most of my neighbors in spinard were folks who were recently arrived in alaska. A lot of folks in the neighborhood were, you know, were working class folks that were renters. There was a sort of apathy. And so we just started getting involved in things. We tried to make em more fun and more welcoming. I think even though we didn't have perfect skils for making things happen, just showing up and believing in our community was what made the difference.
