A common scenario that I see in my practice is that there is one parent that sort of come to know most everything about ADHD, they are the primary parent when it comes to managing the ADHD. Parent two maybe doesn't even believe in the diagnosis. They might be the type of parent that when they're around they're upsetting the careful balance. In a 50-50 custody schedule situation 50% of the time your child has the opportunity to understand what it feels like to have their ADHD well managed. And that is probably all they will need to thrive.
