The Weight Urine and Drunk Dynamic

dark urine in the morning could mean that you're just running low and fluid all that the kidneys are keeping things in check by conserving water. Sometimes a urine can be dark and like you say your kidneys are just conserving a bit of fluid and actually your hydration state is pretty reasonable. So if you're not thirsty and if your body weight's not down, then there's not a great rationale to think shit my urine's really dark. It's not as simple as that basically.
