No Such Thing As A Fish
Salmon Eat Crustaceans
Wild salmon are pink, and they are lots of different shades of pink. And that's all about the crustaceans they eat. Some salmon will eat a certain type of prawn or krill to make them very pink. But farmed salmon don't eat any of this because they're fed pellets of apparently ground up feathers and soybeans and chicken fat. They have a thing called a salmon fan, which was invented by a pharmaceutical company. It's like the duolux paint range, but for salmon colour. So if you're salmon farming, you pick the exact shade of pink that you want your salmon to be, and then they can send you the matching food for it.
