The companies that ultimately joined and co-founded Frontier are doing this because, one, all these companies have ambitious climate commitments already. They also see the value in creating new supply rather than just myopically competing over the supply that exists today. Somebody has to pay the price premiums for these technologies while they're at an early stage so that they can get cheaper over time. It's very hard to imagine the voluntary markets altruistically getting us there.
