The European Union's Draft Legislation on Genetically Modified Foods
In 1992, the FDA basically said that genetically modified food is substantially equivalent to regular food. The European Commission now has just posted draft legislation to do essentially the same thing. And here's where it intersects with our reporting. We are watching technologies and saying they're perfectly safe with zero evidence that they're safe with no evidence whatsoever. It's why we have gone from hundreds of thousands of years to millions now because no one is talking about this.
