The History of the Slavic People
The area that is today the eastern Slavic world was settled sometime in the 6th century by a group of peoples who spoke a common language. The Slavs were composed of tribal units and usually the names of the tribes took the names of local features of the environment. And so what are you actually trying to get out of your tank? You're trying to get maneuverability and you're trying toget a really big gun. But by the time they're actually coming in in decent numbers, that moment has already passed through to new histories that help us understand current conflicts.
