Most experienced traders have built models or partnered with junior traders to build models that supplement their trading. Two guys in our class who are doing very little discretionary trading and are almost exclusively working on building automated models. And so, I think the big picture is, as a discretionary trader with edge these days, you really want to be armed with technology tools to help you make better decisions.
