The Importance of Good Evidence in the COVID Case
Sally Kohn: Let's say the evidence is pointing towards a 0.1% mortality rate, but in another possible world it could still be much higher. She says we need to realize there's actually an important disanalogy between the COVID case and the ice case. Kohn: It might be irrational for someone who's very risk averse to say, look, I don't think the state should be telling anyone whether they can leave their house or go to work under conditions where it's a0.1 chance of death.
