The author's dad was a software engineer in the 70s and 80s. His first programming experience was learning to write a short number guessing game on a kit computer that we had in our unfinished basement. He started teaching in middle school in New York City, did that for seven years then went to Alaska. And he taught another 20-ish years here. Was Python a big part of that at all in your teaching?
