Woke is a constellation of Marxist species that all work with the same operating premise, but locate themselves in different places. They think of themselves as occupying nations, but they see themselves as bound together and seeking liberation from Western civilization. Mao Zedong knew how to use identity politics; we don't learn about it in America at all.
