The Craft of Dying
In her 1978 book, The Craft of Dying, Lynn Laughlin posits that death is now a social movement. I think it's part and parcel of a lot of 1970s broader, in many ways, geopolitics. And so there are things we don't like to talk about, but that doesn't make them, I think a taboo. MIT Press did reissue that in 2019, sort of a 20th anniversary edition.
