The Best Letters of Recommendation at Yale

At Yale, we are not interested in piling on supplementary letters of recommendation. The best letters are from people who really know you well and can speak from their own personal experience getting to know you. We want your first person perspective on interacting with that student. Think about what you could tell your colleague and think what that colleague might already know that really doesn't need to be in your letter as well.
