Is There a Difference Between the Play and the Play?
I wanted to just show leam's journey over a number of years, really. So the structure of the play is that we sort of dip in to his life every three or four years. The pla sits on that first scene, which is very important, because it tells us about their relationship. Er, fletch fails all his exams, th there's a very difficult moment when leam gets angry and calls him thick. But he's very quick witted and funny. Do we kind of miss that kind of intelligence?
