Is There Any Argument for Prohibition of Drugs?

i don't smoke weed, and a lot of the people around me in my life do. And it's a weird feeling to exist in society when there's a legal drug that is just assumed to be normal and regular and fine, but you choose not to do it. Well, also, the war on drugs, in many ways, is a bad faith argument, by which i mean, the people pushing the war ondrugs were often in the usa dog whistling.
