By the time my mam couldn't talk anymore, te man, could she smile. She had this big, overwhelming, like tothy smile. Non verbal communication is a hell of a lot more powerful than anything you can say with whatever words you have at your disposal. And i think that, like it's important in hospitality, it'm important in service. It's just maintaining eye contact with the person you're speaking to, and in doing so, showing them that you care.
