How to Export a Book Marks File in Firefox?

i have a little script that i use to switch environments, and the switch is a bunch of different links. I always think like, wi, wouldn't it be nice if i could generate these bookmarks on the fly? And so i looked and sure enough, the format is dead simple. It's basically an h tm l file with just a couple of links. But i found an article that shows how you can use and you can easily generate it.
