CPI, CPI and PC, Personal Consumption Expenses
The jobs report and we're recording this on Valentine's Day 2023. I'm sending everyone a lot of love, by the way. There's two measuring sticks here. One is called the CPI, the consumer price index. And then there's the PC, personal consumption expenditures. The Fed has said that they kind of prefer thePC because it has less of a waiting for out of pocket medical expenses or shelter.
