The Metaphysical Big Picture

The purpose of all things is communion with the holy trinity in which we know and love and praise the glory of God forever. The tragedy of early modern philosophy as the Thomas story goes is that it rejects the philosophy of form and finality and replaces it with a new world metaphor. In the second part I'll lay out the metaphysical big picture that results from embracing mechanistic reductive materialism. We turn now to the second part, the world of power and control.
