The Last Bit Always Gets Me the Last Bit
The National Antivivisection Society still exists as an organization within Animal Defenders International. Jan Creamer tells us about the Brown Terrier Dog, who was killed in 1903 after enduring more than two months of vivisections. The inscription on the new 1985 version of the statue says: "In memory of the 232 dogs, vivisected in the same place during the year 1902"
