The Beauty of Aranyani

Aranyani is the Hindu goddess of forests and the animals who live in them. She animates and protects the forest and provides food for creatures within her realm. The story goes that one day Shiva and Parvati were walking through the forest when they stopped to look at a tree. It's said that Aranyani was born of the kelp of Rishka tree, which is a sacred wish granting tree in Hindu mythology.
