I didn't think, and this is interesting, because i had studied culture and emotions for several years. But i had never realized how culturd my own emotions were. So that made you aware that emotion is a lot more cultural than you might have appreciated. I've spent most of my life in the south, and it can be a challenge to figure out what anybody really thinks. And maybe it's important to say that when i talk about culture, i don't think that culture is only defined by the large national boundaries.
