The way that depositors would be all asking for their money back at the same time is that really an accurate description of how banks fail these days. And it seems to me like banks often find themselves in major trouble before depositors ever even get involved. Vigs: The idea that there are two equilibria, one of which is functional and diamond and the big will also claim efficient. On the one hand and then the other dysfunctional that of course applies also to any other run situation. It applies in 2008 and 2020 and 2022 in the London markets.
