The Backlash Against ABA
The sentiment when it comes to autism care for the longest time has been to quote unquote fix or cure. And that's something that Harley was talking about. Getting people to appear as neurotypical as possible so that everyone, like for the comfort of everyone around them. But really what we want to be doing with these kids and teens and adults is helping people make sense of and engage with the world in a way that feels meaningful and joyful to them.
