The Different Types of Images in Concept Space

The AI is not set up to directly store images. Instead, its training process in effect grinds up images to extract their statistical properties. And while statistical features of the original images will show up in what the AI generates, any detailed arrangement of pixels in them is overwhelmingly unlikely to do so. But okay, what happens if we start not at a describable concept like a cosmopolitan hat, but just at a random point in into concept space? Here are some of the kinds of things we see and we can show more examples here.
