Machine Learning and Medical Collaboration

There is a disconnect between research standards in medicine and machine learning. Some standards practice that are currently required by medical models, might not be necessary for machine learning models. These deep learning architectures can still generalize even though they're very complex models. So it's not just the machine learning community that needs to speak the same language as the medical community.
