The Importance of Community in Healthcare

I was trained in a time when you were kind of geared toward or pointed towards seeing yourself as the patient advocate. Back when I was originally trained the physician had a more kind of elevated role. So, we have to have people who are in favor of keeping the systems operating functionally. It seems also to have the necessary quality of community is being very, very important to what you do if you're working together with so many other people who have their own specialties to make sure that things work out well for the patient.
