Babel is the most popular way to transpile and polyfill your code. TypeScript is another, yeah, popular. There's a lot of projects out there that are still built in CoffeeScript. I think it's called Pronounce Civit, C-I-V-E-T, it's an animal name. This really truly feels like a very similar type of thing.
