Ataraxia: A Stoic Version of Nirvana

Do you think that the enlightened state that the Buddhists claim to be able to achieve the Buddha himself, do you think these are kind of a stoic version of that? Yeah, absolutely. I mean, a foot word with these ataraxia is a bit like that. But in Greek, it means, it's literal meaning is something more mystical. Because Daimonos is a spiritual being. And it might, for the Platonists, it came to imply something like you're high self or the divine spark within us. So, it means having a good in our divine spark or a good relationship with your higher self.
