The rabbit headband man went on to Instagram to state that he and his friends were being hunted down. He said, yes, that's me in the rabbit hand headband in the pictures. But my friends and I had already left Ito and station when the crowd search happened. So we were not the ones pushing. Like maybe there's another guy with the rabbit headband, but it's not me. There were other rumors of a guy that went around pouring oil on the ground so that people would slip and fall. Those were later proven to be false. A lot of angry netizens were looking for just anyone. Even journalists started to blame people.
