Omega has been exposed to a different existence on the planet, Pat Boo. She sees that there's a different life out there. I don't think she like has force abilities or there. And even the Empire doesn't recognize any sort of special special qualities that she has. That's all she's being used as is bait. They're like the three stooges. wherever they go, destruction follows in their wake.
