I find sometimes we are at this advantage position, right? So with all this, for example, if you see consent screen that an application wants to access your data from Google. I think sometimes the end user's is at this advantage, like not having a good option, not to share their data consciously. The challenge with privacy is much bigger simply because of the volume of data. We have to as a community figure out over the people who build stuff and the people who write these policies.

Nishant Bhajaria is cybersecurity and data privacy executive and the author of “Data Privacy: A Runbook for Engineers”.
