Security Vulnerabilities and Emerging Threats in Cyber Infrastructure

This chapter addresses the security risks of VPN endpoints without multi-factor authentication, illustrated by a recent brute force attack. It also introduces a novel Wi-Fi attack called SSID confusion and discusses concerns around man-in-the-middle attacks related to FIDO2, stressing the importance of secure configurations and unique credentials.
