The Evolution of the Word Affinity
The word affinity was used to mean an attraction of opposites between chemical elements and having a very scientific brain. In his elective affinities, Go goes on to use the idea to think about the orbits and collisions of love. And so how did the evolution of the word itself affect your thinking? Because in a sense that's what an artwork does as well, doesn't an aura piece of writing, it evolves its meanings change with context.
