Is Violence on the Rise?

The observer's effect is that what we're experiencing is a projection of the individual as well. So people are saying violence is on the rise compared to Genghis Khan time, but how do we even say it's on the rise? When someone says everyone's experiencing it, they're talking most of the time about their direct circle. And they're projecting on others. The big issue is the person is not taking responsibility for their own life.
